Nokia to Launch Windows Phones in 2011

Nokia to Launch Microsoft Platform PhonesNokia Corp, the well known and most trendy handset maker company is looking forward to introduce its first cell phone that will be using Microsoft Windows Operating System. Though, it is true that Nokia is facing tough competition from its competitors in many products, however it is striving hard in the markets against Smartphone’s like Android, Blackberry, Apple iPhone, etc.

The delivery of this interesting model of cell phones is expected by the next year, in bulk. S. Elop, the CEO of the company states that their principal Smartphone approach is concentrating on Windows phone. Their products will be shipped in bulk by the year, 2012. He accepted the fact that Nokia was a bit slower in case of meeting challenges with their competitors and has also provided a hint that the mobile phone rates will be dropped down by the company.

On the other hand, it also revealed that the N9 Smartphone, based on MeeGo platform will be available for sale by this year, later. However, the price or date of the same is yet to be disclosed. It is planning ahead to launch about ten Symbian based Smartphone’s by the coming twelve months. Nokia has put forward its attention to Windows Phone Software of Microsoft and made it, its primary Smartphone operating system.
