Don’t you just hate waiting for the Android OTA update to hit your device, do you? Well everyone does, since “unlike Apple” OTA updates deliver slowly to the devices because of the network careers and regions. What if you don’t have to wait for the update? Well this is possible…!
When you want download the normal OTA update you have to head over to the Settings > About > System Update in order to check for any latest OS update for your device. Most of the times you get a big NO! That’s what make you really disappointed, doesn’t it?
Luckily I found one great method over the internet which I am sharing with you guys. This method forces any android device to download the latest OTA system update. Here it is:
Head over to the Settings > Apps and turn on the option that allows you to see all the applications. After that scroll down the alphabetical list that appears on the screen and open “Google Services Framework”. Now hit the ‘Clear Data’ option and then “Force Stop”. Now check again for the System Update by heading over to the Settings > About > System Update. Once you enter into the System Update interface, you’ll see a very old date. If in case you do not see it, try again until it finally appears. Redo the above mentioned method.
According to the reports, this method has successfully worked for a big number of worldwide users who tried it. This technique basically forces the upcoming OTA update to land first on your android device so an OTA update is necessary in this case. This is not a magic at all! It is force updating.
